Rocking Wedding Guest Gifts for your Wedding Reception Guests

So, you're getting married and busily in the process of planning the perfect wedding. We all know that the most complicated part of planning a wedding is the wedding reception. The complexity of the design of the wedding reception is usually left up to the bride.

So, you have finally decided what colors and wedding theme you're going to use. Within that theme, you need to integrate your wedding favors and wedding guest gifts, so that when everything blends in at the wedding reception, it looks uniformed.

There are so many gift and favors you can give to guests, but I'm listing some of my favorites here.

These crown candle holders on the right are royalty indeed. These are actually candle holders. They're very unusual looking to me, but still really elegant. I would use these candle holders on each wedding guest table to give an elegant ambiance to the room. I'd put the cutest candles I can find in each one and have them lit right before the guests arrive. When the guests are ready to leave the wedding reception, they can take these cute little candle holders with them. So there ya go, you kill 2 birds with one stone. Table decorations and favors all in one little package.

Everyone has there preferences, but I personally prefer wedding guest gifts which are also wedding favors and table decorations. Think about it, it cuts your budget by half or in some cases, more than half.

Instead of putting together a separate gift pack, why not combine it all in one by giving the guests useful and functional, yet decorative gifts. To me, that makes more sense if you are looking to save a bunch.
Champagne flutes are also great wedding guest gifts. They're elegant, functional and decorative as well. The ones you see above are some we carry and also come in gold. You can fill them with jelly beans, hard candy, miniature chocolates, coated almonds or any other treat which blends in and matches with your wedding reception theme. Tie it all up with a gorgeous piece of cellophane gift paper or colored net to fit in with your wedding theme and finish off with either plain or personalized ribbons to go back with your wedding reception decor.

Whatever combination you choose, just make sure that everything blends. The wedding guest gifts do not necessarily have to match exactly, they can be contrasting colors. Like bright yellow against black, or bright red against green, or orange against violet. They're contrasting colors but will all blend together when combined.

So, when choosing wedding guest gifts, just remember, especially if you are on a tight budget that the combination of functional, decorative and useful is the way to go!

Bedding for Men - To Sleep or Not to Sleep!

Finding nice bedding for men is like pulling out a premolar. Most of what you see nowadays is so feminine. Everything has flowers, are brightly colored, plain with no pizazz or pastel.

Most men want bedding which shows masculinity at a first glance. This means obviously that flowers, pastels and bright colors are totally out of the question.

When choosing a bedding gift for men, stick to subtle and calm colors with a neutral design. Browns, blacks, beige, dark burgundy, dark green and creme combinations are the ones which I find attract men most. Contrasts with black and white and animal print bedding sets also are great selections to choose for men.

If you are buying the men's bedding set as a gift a men's bed-in-a-bag bedding set is the best one to choose. Nicely wrap some gift paper over it and your job is over. This is a better buy as opposed to those bedding sets which only come in a plastic type of bag and can easily tear, which obviously are not the best option for quick gift wrapping.

Egyptian cotton bedding for men is also an elegant choice. Egyptian cotton is high quality cotton which makes you feel as though you're sleeping in a 5 star hotel room. I'm sure any man would appreciate an Egyptian cotton bed set as a gift.

Some men are more into style than others, so for those who are more into home fashions, I would stick to Egyptian cotton bedding as it is a more luxurious type of bedding than other traditional types.

Most bedding for men come in Twin, Queen, King and California King sizes. Some come with bed skirts or as some people call them ruffles, and some don't. Most men, I find, don't worry about the whole bed skirt issue, they just want something masculine.
I've have a funny situation before, where a lady wanted a duvet set and she said her husband would not dare lay on a bedding set with flowers or bright colors, so she had to settle for something more masculine. This is just a classic situation of a man's ego. Not saying that's a bad thing, but it was just funny at the time as they are some men who truly don't even care.

I've said all of that to say, that everyone is different. Some men don't mind showing a little of their feminine side, but I find that most don't. There is great bedding for men at KCGiftStore.com

Gift Ideas for your Wedding Party

Planning a wedding is no walk in the park. There are so many things to consider and so many tasks to complete when planning a wedding.

So, you've decided to get married, you set a date, you organize a cake decorator, a venue for the wedding and the reception, you buy all the flowers, you organize the limo and stuff, but oops! You were so busy with everything else that you totally forgot all about getting the gifts for the wedding party. You're not the first and trust me, you ain't the last.

They're so many ideas I can throw at you right now. Of course you don't have to catch all, but you can just focus on the ones that catch your eye.

What about a personalized wedding party gift? Personalized gifts always have an added special touch. You can always buy different items and put together to create gift baskets, or what about personalized tote bags for the maid of honor and the bridesmaids? You can get personalized beach bags and canvas bags in a number of colors and styles.

If you're good with your hands, you can try doing hand painted trinkets or even buying plain colored earrings and hand painting them. Even personalizing them with a name or initial. That for sure would be a special gift for any lady in the bridal party.

Have you ever though of personalized t-shirts or tank tops which bear the actual name of the bridesmaid or maid of honor, with some special wording on it personalized just for them? They're some available at KCGiftStore.com, in the wedding gifts section.

It would be of course insane to forget the father of the bride. They're so many gifts you can give dad.

Of course, no one knows what dad likes more than his family. For the cold weather season a father of the bride long sleeve crew neck t-shirt seems like a great gift.

They're also gifts like personalized mugs, mouse pads, coasters, and for the wedding party members who love to cook, what about a personalized kitchen apron with their name on it? The possibilities are endless.

More than likely your wedding party will be a combination of your family and friends, so knowing their like and dislikes should not be that hard to figure out anyway. Anyway, that's just my 2 cents worth on gift ideas for your wedding party. Good luck!
